Japan Can(ada) Mix
“A lifestyle blog where cultures blend”. As someone with an extended family over on the island of Honshu, and a limited knowledge of the country in general, this site is a great exploration of food, culture and travel, as the couple in question carve their collective path together!

Victim to Charm
Photography, college, feminism, reviews – whatever charms her wins a place on her site. It’s not surprising that her blog has grown (and continues to) in the way that it has – from choice to audience connection, this is a great place to check in.

Tee’s Tiny Blog – Tiny Travel, Big Adventure!
Job, dream, a diary, creative endeavour, travel blog, a space to write – the best way I can describe this blog is that of a journey, and a journey through all of the above. From memory to world location updates, the one guarantee is that of a story.

The Honking Goose – something to honk about
Unlike a lot of the other blogs shared, this is one of the few that not only went on hiatus, but actually made a return! This is very much an anything and everything blog, from opinion pieces and current events, to life and pop culture, usually with a side order of sharp wit.

I found Lita when I was having an online crisis about the lack of theatre creatives in my social media sphere. Finding theatre reviewers – easy; writers – never-ending; theatre writers – positively barren. A mixture of sharing stories and uncovering histories from travels, this is an active writer engaging with the world around her, making for a great read.
