Littlest Peak

“It’s fifteen minutes to the top
“How, it’s a hill”
“That’s what it says”
“It’s a stone hut at the top of a hill – if it was quick to get to by foot, it wouldn’t have been put there”

The Dun na Cuaiche walk begins at Inverary Castle, and winds its merry way through the farm and woodland with insane views of the estate, Inverary itself and Loch Fyne. Just as we left, my fellow adventurer spotted this little perch on the right. Admittedly that wee pixel is me, but I did manage to convince him into embracing his inner Pokémon awaiting his lost lover at sea (à la Ghosts of Maiden’s Peak; obscure reference, I know). He…ok, he wasn’t into it, but I thought it was funny.

(Hindsight says that “fifteen minutes” was in fact referring to the bike and logging trail).
